Here's a little bit about me, Lea, The Happy Toad.
First of all, I'm sure you're wondering why I call myself The Happy Toad. To be honest, I'm not sure how or why Toad originated. It is a very loving term of endearment that my husband gave me when we first started dating. I call myself The Happy Toad (1) in honor of that loving, albeit obscure, pet-name that he has given me, and (2) because I have a blessed life and am truly happy.
Things I love to do ~ I enjoy being with my Family, reading, writing, listening to music, cooking/baking, crafting, chatting, playing games (board/card/online), meeting new people, being silly, making people smile, annoying my dogs, living, laughing, loving and thoroughly appreciating every moment that I can.
Things I believe in ~ I believe in the power of love (thank you Deee-Lite!); the power of laughter; the power of a smile; the power of reading, writing, and creative thinking; the power of forgiveness; the power of faith; the power of prayer; and not least by any means, the power of family, that which encompasses all of the above. I have been blessed with a lifetime of opportunities to know that "Seeing IS believing", and a lifetime of chances to love, laugh, learn and grow.
